The blade is stainless steel and is serrated on one edge to make serving neat and easy. Especially appropriate for marble cake. We've partnered with the Vermont Marble Company to create a line of marble pewter products for you. The deep green Verde Antique marble is quarried in Rochester, Vermont, and the pewter is cast by hand in our Middlebury, Vermont workshop.
