It is the most effective moisturizer I have found even for the dry rough skin on my feet. I enjoy trying different products and since I have been in my 40s, I have been on the search for the best products to keep my skin looking young and feeling soft. I do not mind paying more for products if they deliver superior results but even though I have tried more expensive lotions I have not found any that moisturize better or longer than Gold Bond Ultimate Healing. I don't know why I keep searching for something better because I always end of back to this lotion. This lotion absorbs quickly, has a pleasant scent and keeps my skin feeling soft and moist for several hours, even during the dry winter months. Although it claims to moisturize for up to 24 hours, I need to apply it every 3 to 4 hours throughout the day for the best results, but this is much better than any other lotion I have tried. The sides of my thumbs crack and the backs of my hands are always broke out, sore and itchy. I used to use Solarcaine lotion to heal my hands but you can't buy it anymore in the United States. I have tried every lotion and cream out there to heal my hands and nothing works. Recently, my cousin told me about this product so I bought a small tube and tried it. It worked! I love this stuff and will buy it from now on as long as they make it. It is a thick cream that does feel greasy when you first put it on but that goes away very quickly. I first tried the Gold Bond Ultimate Healing with Aloe on my elbow just to test how fast the product would work. With in the first hour of testing, I could tell a big difference. The dry patch was not as near scratchy as it was before and my skin was a lot softer. I next applied the lotion to my legs and arms. You can really feel the moisture after applying the lotion. The lotion leaves your skin feeling soft and non greasy. The non greasy is a plus. I hate lotions that make you feel sticky after application. Smell is usually another factor that I consider when buying lotion. The Gold Bond Ultimate Healing with Aloe is not overly scented or overpowering. It has a hint of Aloe or what I imagine Aloe would smell like. It's not my favorite smell but for the benefits of keeping my skin soft and smooth, I can live with the smell.
