This cable does not support the USB-IF BC 1.2 ACA (Accessory Charging Adapter) standard, so host devices will likely not charge through this cable. Backwards and forwards compatible with most USB 1.1 and 3.0 devices but power is typically limited to 500mA from the OTG host. Some USB 3.0 devices require more power (up to 900mA) and may not work
