REVIEW by Jess Yeow
I'm a huge eyeliner fan, everytime I have make up on, my eyeliner is definitely SUPER thick.
But it's really not easy to find an eyeliner good enough for long wear, black enough & does not smudge.
I love the packaging! Classic black, non frilly, simple and elegant!
Clean cut packaging is always good!
Sooo, the minute I got home I had to open it up to see.
Sleek as expected! Plus pen liners are easy to bring around. Was really excited because the kind lady at Sunnanz was telling me it makes a good daily liner. My expectation was there already!
Decided to do a test, swatched on hand.
I love that the ink is really black! I'm all for a blackest black kind of shade and this doesn't fail me!
The clean cut line.
The black does not fail, and the brush draws on pretty smoothly, no tug-ging needed as I had experienced with other liners.
I compared it with 2 other pen liners I've gotten recently.
1 - Enjea's
2 - "C" brand
3 - "R"
Got to say Enjea's liner won the other 2 I had, not because I'm doing a review but because it didn't fail me like the other 2 did!
I hastily bought "C" when I was overseas because I swatched it on hand and it wouldn't tug at all!
But C couldn't stay and perform as well on eyelids, especially oily ones I guess.
C never fails to smudge within the next hour after using, unless you draw a totally thin line instead of going cat-eyes like I always do.
"R" was a gift I've gotten during Christmas this year, and there were many raving over it, which shocked me because it totally failed my expectation.
The black wasn't black enough, I had to go on a few times to reach the darkness I want and it dries too slowly, smudge too quickly.
Thus, surprisingly Enjea's eyeliner out performed the liners I already owned.
I only found chance to use it yesterday, and I was out for a good 6-7 hours.
The Color is dark enough so there is no need for layering, and the ink gets onto the lid quick and smoothly. This is one huge factor that I consider when getting a liquid pen liner, as I've used a particular "E" brand's liner and couldn't even get one side done before I decided that the pen liner is a no-no.
I did a "rub" test with some water & friction, no remover, and this is the result.
Brand C is almost gone by a few rubs, brand "R" requires remover.
While for Enjea's, it comes off easily when you rub with warm water.
On room temperature water it doesn't come off as much, but friction wise, even when you forgot you have eye liner on & rubbed your eyes, (which is frequent for me btw!)
It shouldn't bring much of a problem as it is really reliable!
Color me surprised because I was truly impressed with it.
I went out to meet F & J and I was worried how the liner was faring, didn't want to look like a panda it it end up smudging since it was my first time using it on my oily eyelids, but it did not fail me!
The eyeliner had no smudge and did not bulge at all.
Even by the end of the day it was as good as what I went out with.
Admittedly, the Enjea's liner is great for top lids and drawing of winged liners, but it would not get on my teary lower lid and thus the lower lash line is not drawn with the same liner.
But to be honest, I'll rather use this liner as a daily liner instead of party girl liner as the tip is really thin and would take many strokes to achieve a cat eye.
For thin lines, drawing of wings, this would definitely be my choice and like i was introduced, a good "daily liner" and I cannot agree more.
Pros:
- Black was dark enough
- Glides on easily, allows for smooth application
- Sleek pen design, good grip
- Ink flows well, no leakage or trouble getting it on.
- Smudge proof
- Easy Off with warm water
- Draws thin lines perfectly
- Value for money
Cons:
- Not suitable for bottom eye
- Not for thick liners due to thin brush
Overall: 4/5
REVIEW by Elizabeth Lee

This eyeliner is my new favorite! I have been using a similar brown brush liner from another very popular Korean brand, and in my opinion this is much better! First off, the design of the brush allows precise control of the eyeliner ink, from fine to thick. The color of the brown liner is highly pigmented and goes on really easily. Throughout the day, the color didn't smudge!!! At the end of the day (after 12 hours), it looked practically the same..which is awesome! I usually use cleansing oil to remove makeup, but because this eyeliner can be washed away using warm water, I decided to try that... I splashed my face with water and warned the eye area with my hands and voila, it came off when I splashed more water on my face! I finished off with my regular cleansing oil and there were no staining or residue on my eyes and face. I would totally buy this again!
