The recommended daily amount of Vitamin A from all sources is 700mcg r etinol equivalents for women and 900mcg re tinol equivalents for men. When taken in excess of 300mcg r etinol equivalents, vitamin A can cause birth defects. If you are pregnant, or considering becoming pregnant, do not take vitamin A supplements without consulting your doctor or pharmacist. Selenium is toxic in high doses. Selenium in dietary supplements should not exceed a daily dose of 100mcg. Do not take Centrum Advance Multivitamin and Mineral if you have a known allergy to any of the ingredients listed.
