These easy to use facial wax strips are hypoallergenic and remove hair as short as 2mm resulting in silky smooth skin for up to 4 weeks.
Formulated with almond oil the strips are suitable for delicate areas, like upper lip, and leave skin feeling soft and nourished.
The moisturising finishing wipes contain wheatgerm oil to remove wax residue and soothe your skin.
Skin must be dry and free from all skincare products, make-up preparations or perspiration before treatment.
Dusting the skin lightly with talcum powder before treatment can reduce the chance of the strips sticking to the skin and aid hair removal.
DEPENDING ON USAGE, REFER TO THE APPROPRIATE SECTION.
Soften the wax between the palms of your hands for approximately 30 seconds.
Peel off strip from backing sheet and smooth the wax strip firmly onto the skin in the direction of hair growth and ensure the strip is well adhered.
Holding the skin taut with one hand, IMMEDIATELY pull the strip back on itself very quickly, ie in the opposite direction of hair growth.
DO NOT leave on the skin.
DO NOT peel back cautiously.
If the strip is pulled back quickly and the skin held taut, the hairs will be removed and minimum discomfort caused.
1. Upper lip:
Treat each side of your lip separately, press on one strip and pull back towards the centre, holding the skin taut with the other hand.
2. Chin:
Hair on the chin is usually lying sideways or downwards. Smooth strips and pull back towards your nose.
3. Eyebrows:
Cut the strip to the appropriate shape. Pull back towards the nose.
4. Centre Brow:
Smooth on strip and pull back towards the nose.
Remove any wax residue using the moisturising finishing wipes provided.
CAUTIONS:
DO NOT use on varicose veins, spots or irritated or broken skin.
May not be suitable for skin that bruises easily.
Avoid use during pregnancy.
Slight discomfort or small red blotchy marks may appear after use. This should disappear after a few hours, if not seek medical advice.
DO NOT use on sensitive areas such as underarms or bikini line until you have perfected the technique elsewhere.
DO NOT sunbathe or use a sunbed for at least 8 hours after use. Wait 2 hours after bathing before use.
Keep out of reach of children.
BEFORE EVERY USE Test a small patch of Smooth Care Wax Strip on a small area you wish to treat, following the directions.
Do not continue to use if you find the treatment causes a reaction.
AFTER WAXING It is not recommended to apply deodorants or alcohol based products to the treated area for 24 hours after use.
