Blue in Green Cotton Sweatshirts

올리브 나무가 수 놓인 스웨트 셔츠입니다. 마일즈 데이비스의 곡 Blue in green과 그것을 샘플(Loop)로 사용한 J Dilla의 곡 Life를 들으며 떠올린 생각을 올리브 나무에 빗대어 표현한 의상입니다.

수동 자수 핸들러로 수놓은 올리브 열매는 입체감이 있는 부클 자수로, 잎사귀는 레이온 비스코스사를 사용해 컴퓨터 자수로 정교하게 표현했습니다. 영감을 받은 곡명을 우측 팔 위치에 레터링 자수로 표현해 컨셉과 기획의도가 돋보입니다.

1900년대 초반 미국의 빈티지 복원 의상에서 주로 찾아볼 수 있는, 전통 편직 방식(루프휠과 유사한 져지 룹)으로 짜여진 원단을 사용한 스웨트 셔츠입니다. 일반적인 프렌치 테리에서 찾아보기 힘든 세로 편직 방식으로 일반적인 스웨트셔츠의 약 2배가량 더 두껍습니다. 1차 바이오 워싱 가공을 거쳤지만, 독특한 편직 방법으로 세탁 후 3~5%가량 수축이 발생합니다.
