It removes all my makeup and leaves my face nice and clean. I was attracted to it because of the natural oils it contains. I was concerned that I might be left with an oil slick as has occurred with cream makeup removers and that I would need to use soap directly afterwards, stripping my skin. Not at all! Washing my face with Palmer's I have a smooth, soft complexion without requiring anything else, a one-step process.
