Carabiners are a great addition to your hammocking arsenal. These new carabiners have been made specifically for hammocking. All Hammock Bliss hammocks come with a built in suspension system consisting of high strength 6mm climbing rope. When you tie these ropes to the Standard, Extra Long or Deluxe Cinching tree straps you have a great set up. Now you can add Carabiners for even more versatility. Clip your carabiner to your tree straps then tie the hammock rope to your carabiner - set up and take down becomes a breeze. Carabiners allow for easy home set up as you never need to retie when hanging your hammock from the same points. Carabiners are also ideal to use with the Hammock Bliss Sky Tent. These high quality aluminum carabiners are made by Mad Rock and are rated to 1100 pounds or 5 KN on the major axis. While these carabiners are not made for rock climbing they are perfect for hammocking. The gate opening is .9 inch or 22 mm and these weigh only 0.74 oz or 21 grams!
