These chisels are made by a small and highly respected tool manufacturer in the Czech Republic and are of exceptional quality. The blades are made from fine-grained, nicely tempered chrome-manganese steel and hardened to Rc 59. The blades take and hold an excellent edge. The blades are accurately ground and have a slimmer cross section that woodworkers prefer. As with all edge tool, they will need sharpening before use. These chisels are an excellent value in a good quality tool. This is an 84 piece set containing the following sizes: 6 mm (1/4''), 8 mm (5/16''), 10 mm (3/8'') 12 mm (1/2''), 16 mm (5/8'') 20 mm (11/16'') , 26 mm (1'' 1/16''), 32 mm (1 1/4'') mm . They are ground at a 25 degree bevel. Blades are 4 1/2 inches to 5 3/8 inches long. Handles are 4 7/8 inches long, made from high impact plastic with soft rubber grips, have an ergonomic oval shape and have a metal striking end plate to accept heavy blows from a hammer. They come in a retail box.
