The pine tar we use in our soaps is authentic, highest grade kiln burned pine tar from Sweden. Auson makes pine tar the old fashioned way by burning pine tree stumps in kilns. This method is also known as, "genuine peasant made tar". For our customers to receive the maximum benefit of pine tar, each bar of soap contains 20% pine tar!Handmade in New Hampshire. Tallow is sourced from NH farms.
Handmade soaps do vary in shape from time to time. While some bars may have flat edges, some bars may have a curved top.
PLEASE NOTE: Pine tar has a very strong, smoky smell. This soap is made with 20% pine tar so it may be intense for some.
