She immediately incorporated it into play with her other dolls and we have seen her playing with it for about the last week - which usually means it has become a favorite of hers. She is always asking us to buy her Monster High dolls, but we have been a little turned off by some of the strange characters from that series. The Ever After High dolls really have the same type of appeal with a less dark/frightening feeling to them. This is a real plus for us. This doll looks good in the package and when taken out feels well made and durable. The clothing and accessories are good quality and look very nice on the doll. The one negative we had was the hair seemed to be pressed into a bit of an unnatural shape and doesn't really comb well or lend to being styled differently.Overall, We are very happy with this doll and our daughter is already asking for more of the characters from Ever After High. My six-year-old immediately loved this doll! She ooh-ed and aah-ed over her pretty dress and pink hair, her cute cupcake shoes and her nifty purse. Cupid was taken right away to a party with Elsa and Anna--they are all the same size, which is cool; all the princesses fit together. We both like that the accessories are removable, such as the dress, shoes, purse, and hair bow. I like that there aren't too many tiny pieces that can get lost. The doll's construction is interesting: her joints are very flexible at the wrists and knees so we can have her give hugs and dance. Her head came lose pretty easily, but I was able to squeeze it back into place (it didn't pop off, just dislocated at the neck). My daughter really enjoyed playing with the Cupid doll and wants to purchase the friends in the series.
