The bras were in sealed individual plastic bags, appeared to be in new condition. As soon as I opened the bags I noticed a very strong smell. It was a musty, chemical smell. It was quite unpleasant, but I thought I might just wash them and it would go away. I was wrong. Long story short, I washed them many times soaked them in many different products and the odor remained. I called customer service, was told they never heard of this but were very quick to send out replacements and I was told to throw the old ones away. The new ones arrived, exactly the same! I called right in and the svc person said she would order two and check them out. She called me back when she got them and said one did have an odor and one didn't. She sent me the one that to her didn't smell. It was just as bad. I have purchased these in retail stores and they never had this problem. So now I am planning to take this one back to the closest outlet store and return it. I'm hoping they might just have them in stock so I can exchange it. I already had some that I've used for over 1 year and wanted more. After many machine washings (in lingerie bag, cold water only, no bleach, line dry), they still have great support. I'm a 36D and bought size L; reordered the same size, various colors, and they are consistently sized, which is great. They are so comfortable that I've worn them to bed, forgetting they were not my "sleep" tops! The only minor thing I noticed on the ones I wore almost daily (this is after at least 6 months), was the shoulder straps starting curling in a bit, most likely from the slight stretching with use. This did NOT impact the support, only whether the strap lies flat on the top of the shoulder.. Not a big deal unless you are wearing something that would show the slight bump it would cause at the top of your shoulder. Simple sizing also; takes a lot of the guessing out of it. Then I happened to find this Bali style & thank goodness I did! The wider straps feel so much better, although they are not adjustable. The bra is sized x-small through large with no wires & just slight padding. The sides are high enough & comfortable . The cup is wide enough to hold everything in place.( I do alot of moving & bending over at work). I'm stocking up on these !Written by a customer while visit
