We have been buying the "Dell 5 Button Bluetooth Mouse" for our laptops for almost 5 years. We LOVE them. Nobody else has ever made a better bluetooth mouse. We use Windows 7 and unless something major happens we will not be moving to Windows 8, unless it happens to be a tablet (ala Surface). So I was rather unhappy when I saw Dell discontinued the line, and rebuilt it as a "Windows 8" mouse. But we ordered one in anyways to give it a try. First, they moved one of the buttons from the left to the right - OK I can live with that. However even under Windows 7 the left side mouse button does nothing. You have to hold it, and left click the scroll wheel to "go back". This is a devolution. Bring back the 5 Button version, along side this new one. That way customers have a *choice*. I'm sure this will work fine with Windows 8. However for a non-touch device, it dissapoints.Written by a customer while visiting DellWas this review helpful?Yes (0)No (0)ReportAwful Performance8/1/2014Average rating:1out of5stars, based onreviews8/1/2014by pvaccaroI am awfully disappointed with this product. I have had it about a month now and it has been a terrible purchase. The mouse itself has a great shape however the connectivity with my laptop is horrible. I bought the mouse along with a brand new dell inspiron 15 7000 series. It worked well for a few days but ever since it doesn't stay connected with my laptop. It disconnects after 5 minutes of use and I have to reconnect it. After about an hour or two of reconnecting it, it disconnects completely even thought he laptop says it is connected. I thought at first that maybe the batteries were low but after replacing them the performance did not improve and it will still not connect with my laptop. Its a terrible product and hope no one puts themselves through the frustration of owning one.Written by a customer while visiting dell.comWas this review helpful?Yes (0)No (0)ReportRead all reviews
