
Terms and Conditions (Revised on 1st Dec 2017)
- We are unable to guarantee the same housekeeper for every visit due to nature of housekeeping / cleaning industry.
- The Customer is strongly encouraged to keep all valuables before commencement of housekeeping.
- We will not be held liable for any losses or damage of personal property.
- Housekeepers reserve the right to avoid cleaning areas that are “booby traps”. “Booby traps” refer to areas or items such as, but not limited to:Unstable fixtures (e.g. Wall pictures / installations that are not hung securely)
- Top heavy items with unstable bases (e.g. Porcelain vases)
- Valuable breakables (e.g. Cabinets or shelves with valuable crystals or Porcelain).
- Housekeeper will use equipment that is available on-site. No additional equipment is provided.
- Arrival / departure time is done on a best effort basis. AfterYou will not guarantee an exact time.
- We make every effort to consistently schedule a predetermined set day that housekeepers arrive for each cleaning. If for any reason we need to reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances, we will give you as much notice as possible.
- Due to health and safety reasons, housekeepers are unable to clean up mould, human, pest (flea and rodent infestations, etc.), pet waste and bodily fluids. Should there be any areas that are affected, housekeeper will skip the affected areas.
- Housekeepers do not climb higher than a 2-step ladder. Extension poles will be used for higher items that need dusting and cobwebbing.
Cancellation Policy
- We require 1 business day’s notice to cancel an appointment without penalty. Any notice that is shorter will result in a penalty.
- First penalty is waived.
- 50% of session fee is deducted as cancellation fee for the 2nd penalty and beyond.
- This also applies to “lockouts”, meaning that we are not able to access your home due to the following reasons:
- Condominium security refuses the housekeeper’s entry
- No full address provided
- No entry method is available (no key / passcode)
- Not contactable when housekeeper arrives (15 minutes grace period)
- Tentative schedules will always be confirmed via email before the initial service is started. Please add the cleaning schedule to your calendar. Reminders are only made by email.
