This dress-up protection filter (protector) is a (regular) lens filter aimed at protecting the lens, dustproof, and soiling.
We will protect your lens from scratches and dirt
The lens surface material used for digital camera lenses is softer than common glass, and it is weak to scratches.
Also, in order to maintain high transmittance, coating is applied, and if the lens surface is scratched, image quality such as ghost and flare will be deteriorated.
Lens protective filter (regular filter) is an essential item to protect delicate lens front from scratches, dirt, shocks.
Since the screw is cut in the front, you can also attach a lens cap from above.
