I'm 35 with very fair, combination skin. This powder does offer lasting shine control in oily areas or on hot days. Unfortunately, it only helped to exaggerate the fine hairs on my face making them VERY noticeable. The consistency is a tad coarse. Up close, the powder appears to sit on top of the skin instead of giving the 'soft focus' look. A lot of product is lost during application because there is considerable fallout from the compact. I've tried using both an application sponge and good quality powder brushes. I really like Hard Candy's Sheer Envy Color Correcting Powder and will continue to purchase that one instead.
