There are two kinds of bristles, the shorter one to deposit the mascara and the longer one to comb through the lashes. I really like the high end products for the simple reason that they take into consideration even the minutest of the details. The ruler marking on the packaging again looks classy and adds to the lengthening image.

Colour:

It does not have a runny consistency and is neither too dry, just apt for application. It does not clump nor does it come out as a lot of gunk on the bristles. Coming to the colour, yes as the name suggests it is jet black.

The best thing about this mascara is the wand with smaller head which makes it so convenient to maneuver, I can easily apply mascara on the lashes at the inner corner also. It stays intact the entire day without any smudging or smearing.The lashes do not feel heavy. It is ophthalmological tested so you can wear it without any apprehensions.

 I had high expectations for the smart custom serum.
