They are fading/lightening, which is a welcome surprise! I wanted to use this product as all natural. I did not want to use anything with harsh chemicals. The box says to use for more than a month to see results, so I definitely recommend that. I typically use every morning and at night before bed if I remember. I have had no issues using this product. I like the smell. I don't think it will actually be able to remove my sun spots, but the fact that is has certainly diminished the look of them & has made them not so noticeable has me very pleased. I have problems with dark spots due to age and the sun. I am always looking for something to help. I know this product is just about completely natural. That is the clincher for me. So, I tried it. I saw this product at the store and figured I'd give it a try. My skin is a nightmare with it being combination, but more on the dry side and sensitive. After the first couple of weeks of using the product twice a day I noticed that most of the scars on my chin had faded. It has now been 5 weeks since I've started using the product and I can see an astonishing difference. My skin looks brighter and the scars on my cheeks are fading with the ones on my chin being almost completely gone. I was excited to see they expanded their product line. I have sensitive skin but over the years have learned what works for my skin. I have combination oily skin that is at times sensitives depending on what is in products. After years of not using sunscreen as a I should have in my early 20's, I decided to give this product a try in combination with the tonic, and moisturizer to get rid of a few small sun and discoloration spots.I do use the BB cream and have not had any issues. It felt and smelts great but unfortunately after a week of use broke out from this product line. My skin did look more revived and brighter but with red rashy and acne like bumps.
