Whitecap Industries G-1020SS, gas spring mounting bracket. This gas spring mounting bracket is 2-1/4'' in length, 3/4'' in width and 1-7/16'' in height. Size is 10mm. It requires three #8 fasteners, not included. It is constructed of 304 stainless steel. Sold in pairs. Gas shocks are great to use to keep a lid, hatch or door in the open position. Over time and use, the gas used in the cylinder will naturally dissipate, therefore the shock will need to be replaced. Locate the extended length (from ball to ball) and the pounds of pressure required and you can easily replace your worn out shock with one from Whitecap. Replacement brackets and other accessories, in stainless steel and steel, are available, as well.
