I had used the Neutrogena oil free eye makeup remover for about a year and a half and it was alright then it started to bother my eyes. I would have some of it go into my eyes and irritate them when I wiped with the tissues. This one being a lotion it does not go into my eyes when I wipe it with tissues and works really good. It worked great to remove my eye makeup but a few minutes after using it started burning and my under eye area was red. I washed my face and applied a moisturizer and my skin was still burning.
