How to Use
1. Shave the hair on the area to be treated
2. Select the energy level on the i-Light Pro
3. Hold the flash window firmly against your skin
4. Press the flash button and you will see a flash of light and feel warmth. Treat the skin in a grid like pattern
Repeat this regime every two weeks for three treatments. For any regrowth after these treatments, simply repeat the above process.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can IPL be used on any skin type?
IPL devices are effective on skintypes equivalent to the Fitzpatrick scale 1-4. It is less effective on type five and six as darker skin absorbs energy from the light meaning the hair follicle is unable to absorb enough of the energy.
Can IPL be used on any hair colour?
IPL is effective on all hair types but is less effective on grey, white, red and light blond hair. It is less effective because white, grey, red and light blond hair contain less melanin and so do not absorb as much of the light energy emitted.
