We bought this boat to take to Minnesota for my 5 and 8 year old daughters. It was simple to put together, and had a surprisingly long battery life. Both kids were able to ride together or separately with no problems. The kids had a great time going back and forth from one pier to the next on the lake. So far, it has held up beautifully. It would work for a swimming pool, too. Glad we got it!
