This Pinot Noir is ruby with a purple hue. There are aromas smoky paprika, blackberries, liquorish and sour cherry with pronounced spices of clove, cardamom, white pepper and nutmeg. The palate has a creamy, mouth-coating texture. Flavours of blackberry, liquorish, red cherry, clove and cardamom are revealed. Tannins are firm, although building gracefully, and they carry the wine through to a long flavoursome finish. To enjoy this wine at it’s best, open 30 minutes prior to serving or decant. Enjoy this wine now or cellar up to 5 years from vintage. For the patient cooks, serve this wine with pulled pork sliders and coleslaw.
