Getting a young child or baby to cooperate with a classic-style thermometer can be a struggle. That is why this Beurer Non Contact Thermometer was designed with them in mind. Hygienic and safe, the thermometer provides a quick and accurate reading without having to place the measuring element in the mouth or ear of your child. Additionally this thermometer can be used to measure an object or room temperature.

Forehead Temperature: To take your forehead temperature, hold the thermometer an inch away from the center point of your forehead. Press start and keep thermometer in the same position until you hear a long beep which usually takes a few seconds.

Object Temperature: To measure the temperature of an object, hold the thermometer approximately 1 inch away from the desired measuring point. Press the start button and read the temperature shown on the display.

Room Temperature: The room temperature is displayed directly when the thermometer is set to room temperature mode. Measurement values are not recorded when set to room temperature and/or object.

No Contact: Thanks to the infrared measurement technology, the non-contact clinical thermometer makes it possible to measure temperatures hygienically and safely without coming into contact with the skin. It is possible to measure the body temperature as well as the ambient and surface temperature.

Temperature Alarm: The display shows the above symbols according to the result of the measurement. The smiley face symbol indicates that the body temperature measured is below 100.4°F. The sad face symbol indicates that the body temperature is equal to or higher than 100.4°F. If the acoustic signal is switched on, three beeps will sound once the measurement is complete if the temperature is equal to or higher than 100.4 °F.

Memory Spaces: Measured values are automatically stored with date/time and fever/no fever. The device holds the last 60 measurements. If the 60 memory spaces are exceeded, the oldest values are deleted.

Blue Display: The blue XL display makes reading the results easy to see. The automatic display switches off after measuring the temperature. You also have the option to switch the display back light on manually.
