I have to be careful with makeup, but I was able to use other mineral makeups without any issues. I bought this makeup thinking it would be "gentle", but it quickly caused the worst rosacea flare up I have had in ages. The flare up was definitely caused by the makeup as I am very careful to avoid rosacea triggers and this was the only change in my skin care routine. I am very fair and the color of the makeup was "off"...it isn't ivory, it is darker, and it does not leave a nice light veil of foundation like other mineral makeups. It is heavy, noticeable and settles into fine lines even when I tried to apply it lightly. Despite being heavy, it did not cover flaws like a couple of fine threadveins well, which was odd because usually the one benefit of heavy makeup is that it covers well. This is the worst face makeup I've tried and it did not live up to it's claims. I have oily skin in my t-zone. I use moisturizer first, and then concealer around my eyes before applying this.
