The gel insole is a plus. The color combination of grey and a hint of lavender is attractive. Color was drew me to them in the first place. Only drawback that I've encountered are the itsy-bitsy short shoelaces. By the time you've laced up the shoe there's only about 5" left on each lace to make into a bow.
