Careful before buying! This kit is NOT compatible with any SoundTrue 2 or ANY SoundLink models. The plastic end clips included with this kit will ONLY fit the older Bose models. This kit is compatible ONLY with AE2, AE2w and SoundTrue Around-Ear (1st generation only) This kit is NOT compatible with SoundTrue 2 or ANY SoundLink models. It is not compatible with ANY of the QuietComfort (QC) models which require a much larger cushion. The QC3 model is an exception to the rule, but a simple mod has to be done to the top end clips in order for them to fit the onto the metal headband correctly. E-mail in advance of purchase if you need help.
Before you cut off your old original headband cushion make sure the clips are wide enough to fit around your headband. Make sure the cushion is long enough to fit your model. Make sure you are not missing any parts. Contact Ron before or after purchasing if you need help. Free installation is available if you need it.
Difficulty of installation: Easy to moderately difficult depending upon the ability of the individual Do It Yourself-er. The plastic end clips and cushion will fit perfectly onto compatible Bose models. If the plastic clips are too small, or if the cushion is drastically too short, you will have purchased the wrong kit. If this is your experience, email Ron for help.
