How it works

• When your dog barks， the vibration of your dog\'s bark triggers the sensor probe. The collar then administers a static correction through the contact points. It begins with the lowest level of correction and increases through the six levels each time she barks within 30 seconds of the previous barks. Once she stops， the collar will reset itself to the lowest level. When she barks again， the process will start over. Along with each static correction， the collar will also beep.

• When using your Bark Control Collar for the first time， fit the adjustable strap to your dog and wait nearby until your dog barks. Most pets will quickly understand the new sensation is telling her to be quiet.

FAQ

Q: Is this collar waterproof?

A: The instructions that came with the collar said not to get it wet. We took that as a no and don\'t allow the dog to wear it in the rain or around the pool.

 

Q: Will this collar shock a dog if he coughs or sneezes? His current collar is activated only by vibration & shocked him when he coughed

A: It probably would， this one seems to activate on vibration too. It activated on my boy when he laid down and sighed with a deep breath.

 

Q: What size of batteries does this use?

A: 6Volt (4LR44 was a number with it)

 

Q: It won\'t hurt my dog，right?

A: Of COURSE， It won\'t. When your dog barks，the warning tone reminds your pet without immediately applying painful stimulus. 

At each step，your dog gets to choose whether it\'s worth the increasing pain to bark again.

• Do not allow your dog to chew this collar. You should also attempt to minimize scratching or clawing at the casing.

• This device is made up of plastic and electronics components that are not digestible. Consult your local vet if your dog swallows any part of this product.

• The collar is not intended for use as a restraining collar. If you are using a leash， use it with a separate restraining type of collar.
