They are a great family with extended family members that include grandma and grandpa. You can pose them all and they are made of wood. They all have material clothes that are attached to each doll. It did not meet my expectations in any way. I showed it to my daughter and we agreed it was not worth keeping. The dolls are constructed of wooden beads with clothing and hair, etc. largely glued to the beads. They do not appear durable for extensive play by a 3 yr. old. Some of the seams on the doll clothing were completely raw. We were concerned the fabric would soon unravel. The house comes complete with furniture. The dolls fit most of the furniture like the dining room, living room, kitchen, bathroom and the cradle in the nursery. The house comes with a canopy bed that could fit a barbie. The girls just line several dolls in a row to fit them all.
