1.The plastic at the top can trap drops of water which can drip down into the pouch as you''re extracting you phone. That small amount of water probably will not going to damage your phone but it can cause condensation inside the pouch. If your phone has raised bezel around the camera, you may get fogging on the inside of the pouch right over your lens. When this happen, please be able to wiggle your phone around in the pouch enough to get a clear view.
2. Be a bit careful when opening them up. It feels as though if you''re too rough with it, you could rip or stretch the pouch to the point of not being able to seal. The material (vinyl) is pretty sturdy but best to be gentle.
3. The clasps can pop off and fly a few feet if you open/close it too quickly. So be careful, you wouldn''t want one of the clasps to fly off the boat while your trying to put your phone in the pouch.
4. Always test case before trusting it with expensive electronics. Do this by submerging the case in water with paper towel in it. Make sure to place phone in case under dry conditions and try not to open the case during your trip. Opening the case under a hot sun after being submerged in cold water can result in condensation buildup inside the case and make the clear plastic foggy.
5. If you will be using your phone for taking pictures or texting while in this case try to squeeze out air before sealing. Leaving air in can cause air bubbles making it difficult to use the touch screen.If you wont be using your phone''s touchscreen leave some air in the case before sealing so that the case will float!
