This is my first St. Ives product. I typically use a competitors' products, but I needed face wash and I was at the store so... I figured I’d give yours a try. At first I was convinced it was causing me to break out. But I persisted, not eager to give up on it, especially because I liked the smell. I was just starting to like the product, but only after a few weeks the packaging started leaking out of the seam on the side of the tube. It has gotten so bad that when I squeeze it at all, the face wash comes out of the bottom and the side. And i've never dropped this tube at all. It just fell apart. I used that scrub for 2 years and with sensitive skin it was the ONLY product that effectively cleared and controlled my skin without me being allergic to it. Honestly, the original was the best face product I have ever come across in my entire life, truly. I trie the new Blackhead Control Green Tea Scrub and it is not the same. It doesn't lather at all compared to the previous version and is much rougher on the skin. St. Ives, please bring back the original formula, I know there are a ton of other people feeling the same as me about this new product switch. In fact, my skin has been breaking out lately in my unsuccessful efforts to find a new daily breakout clearing facial scrub/wash. It is extremely hard to change face products when you used one for so long, especially when it was so effective. I will say I've always had a full hit or a full miss experience when using St. Ives but I've never seen it be caused by the product itself when stuff goes wrong. If I exfoliate too hard, my skin breaks out. Any microbeads left? Breakouts! Which is why I've opted for this scrub instead of that peach one because I needed something gentle and yet deep cleansing all at once. When I wash with this twice daily followed by my ponds for extra dry skin, I look and feel amazing. At times, some products leave me feeling itchy or irritated on my face but this is a wonderful, gentle product.
