They are nice brushes and look beautiful in the new white (elf) storage containers I also ordered. However, both brush sets have a very strong plastic smell. I bought one of the sets as a gift and decided to check it before wrapping. Glad I did b/c it did not contain the shadow "C" brush. Instead they gave me 2 precision brushes (I already have 5 black ones). So I had to wash my "c" brush and include it in the set I was giving as a gift. This happened several months ago in the black set I ordered as well. Something else I noticed too while comparing the 2 new sets was that the same brushes in each set usually were not the same in density. However, I've noticed this as well in the many single elf brushes I've purchased recently, especially the newest ones (selfie foundation, blending face brush). I used to order at least 2 of all the brushes, but now I try to buy them at the store so that I can check it out first. They obviously aren't designer quality, but they are very soft, and better than I anticipated. I've tried elf brushes before and liked them, and these are better than those.
