This is a new (5''x7'') 500 Watt heating unit designed to work in the coldest of climates. Greatly improves the starting when used on oil pan. Canadian CSA listed Perfect for a Full sized Diesel PU. This listing is for a 500 Watt 120 Volt AC Pan or Tank mounted heater. The heater is attached directly to the pan or tank with a special 3M adhesive. A conventional block heater does a great job heating the water in your engine. But does nothing to warm the oil in the pan. Cold oil takes time to start flowing when you start your vehicle. Until the oil flows, you are causing undue wear inside your engine. This heater keeps the oil warm and flowing at very cold temperatures.
