Born in Nagasaki, Nagasaki prefecture in 1952.
In 1973, debuted with folk duo · grape.
He became a solo in 1976, and produced numerous hit songs including "Kankei Declaration", "Poetry of the Dutyner" and "Daughterful People".
In 2001, he announced "Spirit Spirit" as a novelist and became a best seller.
After that, many novels are announced and it is made into a movie.
The concert activity which continues vigorously from the debut, 4000 times (solo concert) unexpectedly achieved in July 2013 (performed at Nippon Budokan).
In July 2015 this year, we released the 43rd original album "Wind trajectory".
