The spruce select pressure tested top has been designed in a way to get the best sound out of this acoustic guitar. Testing ensures maximum tone, projection and resonance. Each Seagull S6 Spruce has the top slightly curved around just above the sound hole. This increases stability and allows for thinner bracing. Adirondack Spruce Bracing is quarter-sawn, scalloped and carved. The bracing follows the top curvature. The bracing is strong but allows the solid spruce top to vibrate freely. The solid spruce top of the Seagull S6 Sunburst GT has been book matched to ensure an even wood grain. It also looks great.
