The iZuiko f1.8-2.7 4.7 – 23.5mm (26-130mm equivalent angle of view in 35mm cameras) digital lens is a 5x compact version of the legendary, high-quality ZUIKO Digital lenses featured with Olympus DSLRs. With a maximum aperture of f1.8 at wide-angle and f2.7 at telephoto, this lens assures fast shutter speeds for sharp low-light images. This aperture range also allows photographers to take portraits that highlight the subject by defocusing the background, a capability not possible in most compact cameras. The lens is specifically designed for clear, high-quality photographic performance with minimal ghosting or flare.

The image processor is noted for accurate natural color, true-to-life flesh tones, brilliant blue skies and precise tonal expression; it also lowers image noise in photos shot at higher ISO settings, enabling great results in low-light situations.Backlight HDR

Shooting into backlight typically results in washed out, overly bright images. Backlight HDR Adjustment takes a collage of images at various exposure levels and blends them into one, perfectly exposed image.

AF Illuminator
The XZ-10 also features an AF illuminator to make it simple to focus in low-light situations.

Photo Story
You can easily create a combination of photos by selecting one of four themes. Each theme allows you to create a photo story with a certain flair with just a single touch. Choose Standard to capture three images in segments to tell a story. Select Speed that allows continuous seamless shooting of 5 images and combines them into one image, Choose Zoom-In/Zoom-Out to captures two images at two different distances into one image, or select Fun Frames and create images that mimic Film style and Polaroids.

Hybrid Control Ring and Customization
The XZ-10 offers advanced manual controls that experienced photographers expect. But, with the XZ-10, advanced features are easy to use. Similar to the XZ-2, the XZ-10 is equipped with a hybrid control ring, built around the lens, which allows users to easily assign function settings to their preferences.

3" Touch LCD
Whether composing still images or HD videos, photographers will appreciate the XZ-10’s sharp 3.0-inch touch LCD to frame and show off still images and High Definition (HD) movies. The LCD displays 920,000 dots in vivid color, reproduces colors and shades more accurately with deeper black tones, and consumes less power. The monitor also provides a wide viewing angle ensuring that images can be composed from even the most obscure angles. The XZ-10’s touch screen reacts quickly with the slightest touch and can focus by touch even if the subject is not in the center. Touch Screen display makes it easy to choose AF points, capture a picture, change camera settings, release the shutter or navigate controls, simply by touching the screen.
