Proudly made in the U.S.A. by the current military contractor, Improved Combat Shelters (ICS) in ACU Digital Pattern. The Improved Combat Shelter is a one person free standing tent for use in combat situations. It is blackout capable meaning once erected, a person using a light source inside the tent cannot be see at all from the outside of the tent. Designed for spring, summer, and fall use, the ICS is a true three season tent. Unlike the shelter half tents of yesterday, the ICS has an integral waterproof tub floor measuring 96 inches long by 40.5 inches wide. (27 sq. ft.). With an internal height at the center 32.5'' and a vestibule area of 8.5 sq. ft. making it possible to sit up in the tent. Lightweight, easily carried and yet fully waterproof this is the ''real deal'' not some cheap knockoff that doesn''t meet strict D.O.D. standards.
