I have horrible problems with small nicks an cuts turining red but if I use this after shaving it soothes and seals them leaving behind a nice scent. I shave in the shower and when I'm done I put this one and rinse it off, I couldn't be happier with the results. Instead I'm going to review it as a preparation for shaving, which is something it does extremely well. Using a very small amount with some warm water already on your face, it rinses off very easily and doesn't leave any greasy residue on your face at all. By the same token, it's probably the first thing I've ever washed my face with that didn't leave it feeling dry. It's perfect, and allows for a very comfortable, close shave with minimal effort. I picked this up over the neutregena face wash because I saw that it had tallow in it, which I really like. In hindsight, I should have gone the other route. about the same price. Not sure if I'm even going to finish using it. too bad there's no satisfaction guarantee. I would NOT recommend this for people with sensitive skin. Most products for people with oily skin tend to severely dry out the skin. This is great since it doesn't do that, there is drying but not as bad as other products I've tried. Generally, I find leaving it on your skin will mosturize it better and will suffice for the day. (I'm not a fan of lotion) Also the product is really gentle but effective so you can use it for almost all skin types, whether your skin is paper or leather.
