She'll be 7 in a few months... I ordered the 'small' size costume for her... I was nervous about the size when I picked it up from Walmart because it says on the package that it's for a 3 to 4 year old girl. My daughter is 40 inches tall and around 40 lbs... So we try it on her & once we get it past getting her arms in it... It fits her perfectly.... She looks So Cute in it... Seems to be made pretty well also... Very cute costume... It really looks like mermaid fins but is so functional. I honestly liked it better than the Disney character costume. My 5 yr old child was able to walk, sit, stand, dance and travel comfortably in this wonderful design. Her school had costume day and it was easy to put on, take off and put up. It turned chilly Halloween and I was even able to put a long sleeved Tshirt and tights underneath (black or turquoise). Everyone loved it but especially the little girl who wanted to be a mermaid this year!
