Mosquitoes (even in the dark) can easily locate where a person is by sensing carbon dioxide and temperature that he/she is emitting. They also react with extreme sensitivity to ultraviolet (UV) rays. Using these habits of mosquitoes, the photocatalyst mosquito trap can act as a decoy to capture mosquitos in a bright indoor setting, or a dark outdoor setting.

The trap is engineered to protect in 3 ways:

1.) A UV fluorescent bulb will generate a warm light that attracts insects.
2.) Ti02 (Titanium Dioxide) coats the surface, which emits similar amounts of CO2 ( Carbon Dioxide ) as humans. That's irresistible to mosquitos.
3.) A powerful, yet ultra quiet vacuum fan sucks insects into the retaining cage where they dehydrate and die.

A twist to close feature will ensure that any insects that are still alive in the retaining cage will not be able to escape when you turn the trap off.
