The Piano Adventures method is based on discovery ,creativity , and adventure through music-making.There are four core books per level :Lesson , Theory ,Technique & Artistry ,and Performance Book .Correlating pages are shown in the lower right margin . 

 

Book One of Accelerated Piano Adventures for the Older Beginner combines Level 2A and Level 2B of the basic Piano Adventures method .Concepts include major and minor pentascales; transposition ;intervals through the 6th:C,G,and F major scales with their primary chords ; the dotted quarter note;and connected pedaling.

 

The student pianist will become acquainted with music by Rameau,Bach,Haydn,Beethoven,Mozart,Grieg,Brahms,Borodin,and Stephrn Foster.Traditional folk songs and original pieces by Faber are also part of the repertoire.

 

A dictionary of musical terms is provided at the end of the book for easy reference.
