It did keep me dry and the Scent was mild enough not to be cloying. It was a different take on a citrus brand of deodorant which was pleasing. If you like a slight Scent then I'd give this a try to keep you dry. I’ve tried others and none of them worked very well for me as this one did. I've tried different scents of the clear gel Secret deodorants and they are great. Even though, I love the fresh Pear scent that is not so strong, but refreshing and pleasant. It keeps me dry, it is lasting, and I don’t have to worry about residue in my armpits or stains in my clothes. I strongly recommend it.
