It happens when the spotlight falls upon the musician onstage – sound and light merge, moving the collective soul of the audience, bringing out the emotion within the music. Relit brings a tangible presence to the sound, leaving a deep impression on the listener.

In the design of Relit, I paid special attention to expressing sound through light in a unique and attractive way. In order to create the impression of ‘Light as the visualization of sound’, the light source is located in the same position as the speaker unit. Striking patterns of light and shadow are created on the wall as the light filters through the speaker grille. Unique lighting effects can be achieved in the ‘time’ and ‘space’ in which the music is experienced, creating a sense of calm and composure.
