The transformation is complex and takes about 10minutes to make sure everything works. The problem is that some parts must fit JUST RIGHT and there's little margin for placement error. Adults will find the transformation somewhat challenging, and children may get frustrated and fed up without adult supervision to get that "one nagging piece" to behave. In robot form the toy has very articulated arms and legs, and opening rocket launchers on his chest. It's sturdy but more fragile than the typical TF toys.
