Repetitive wrist motion can lead to chronic injuries, especially in badminton and table tennis. When the wrist is the main pivot point (e.g. smash, dribbling, ball-setting, surfing, etc.), acute injuries may occur. Maintaining a flexed or extended posture for a long time may cause wrist injuries as well.
