Min Ho’s Character Doll “Minomi” Gains Popularity

From the MBC Drama, “Personal Taste,” Gae In (played by Son Ye Jin) names the doll Jun Jin Ho (played by Lee Min Ho). This doll became Gae In’s stress reliever and friend whenever she was going through hard times. Apparently, the doll was actually made to resemble Min Ho.

Minomi was designed by a famous teddy bear designer, Joanne Oh. She created Minomi to resemble Lee Min Ho by giving it long legs and wise looking eyes. Its nose is also a key point since Min Ho is known for his sharp nose as well. While Joanne was making this doll, she wanted to concentrate on the feeling when someone holds the doll. She wanted to make sure that the person feels comfortable and warm while holding onto the doll, so that is why she wanted to make Minomi by hand. That is the reason why Minomi is more expensive than her other dolls since Minomi is handmade.
