Mountaineer is a family of "all-purpose" carbon tripods of Gitzo, which is extremely robust and lightweight.
Naturally, it is the most popular tripod family in the lineup of Gitzo.
The newly developed Carbon eXact tube and the newly designed body make it more rigid and more robust than ever before.
At the same time, the new design of the G lock system · ground level setting mechanism · opening angle selector makes it possible to operate faster and easier.
The GT 3542 is a series 3 4 stage tripod with standard level elongation.
It is ideal for use with professional equipment including single lens reflex cameras equipped with lenses up to 300 mm (maximum 400 mm).
By adopting the new design and Carbon eXact tube, the weight is reduced while increasing the rigidity compared to the conventional model of Series 3.
