I've never had an issue with aveeno before. This wash has given me an extremely painful, itchy, hot red rash and welps all over. I've been trying to get rid of this rash for 3 weeks now. It's extremely uncomfortable. I even had to go to the ER because the rash had gotten so bad. It covers my arms, stomach, thighs, neck, and runs up one side of my face. I didn't even consider that my aveeno body wash was the cause until I scheduled an appointment to see a dermatologist. So all this money and pain later, I'm still fighting off the rash that covers most my body and on steroids prescribed by the dermatologist. So do I recommend this product? NO!! Also, I would like to state that these are my actual and honest opinion and experience with the product. I was once again very pleased with Aveeno’s line of products. I do not like to use any products with strong scents. The scent some products use are too overpowering and become bothersome depending on where you’re applying the product or what type of product you are using. However, after using Aveeno’s Body Wash with the gentle scent of coconut I noticed my skin was soft to the touch and the light scent of coconut was a plus since most “gentle” products do not use any scents and even though I like gentle products I still want the advantage of smelling nice and refreshed. Aveeno often uses oatmeal in their products and this is another advantage to this body wash. The lotions and body care products I've tried before have always fit in what I've thought of as Aveeno's good product, good-for-you philosophy. I enjoyed this body wash. Smooth feel on and smooth wash off. No residue or tacky feeling after I was out and dry. My skin felt moisturized as well as clean and it may seem weird to describe it, but it doesn't feel cheap. While Aveeno products aren' t the least expensive on the shelf, you're paying for the quality. I never wonder about what I'm putting on my skin. With Aveeno, I know it's safe. I think it can be hard to do coconut well since half the time you can't pay attention to the coconut-scented product you're using because you're overwhelmed by the fake tan oily sun tan smell coming out of the bottle.
