After a long day of running around I finally got home and just had to try this. You see i have those type of calluses that they show on TV that will pop a balloon. They were so bad I had been using what I call a cheese grater for your feet because a pumice stone took too much time and too much effort. So when I got home was pleasantly surprised by how it felt and how well it worked. My feet are so much smoother than I ever got with either the pumice stone or the grater. I am currently planning to use this every few days because of how thick my calluses are. Particularly on the outside heel of my foot. If yours are as thick as mine then although you will see the rough edges go away I would recommend that you use it every few days at first and not try to do it all at once. It works really well and is so easy to use. I use it every couple of days and now my feet are looking and feeling so much better. I would recommend this to anyone who want smooth, nice looking feet. I don't have really bad feet, but I use it every other day for just a few minutes & it's great. My husband asked to use it & now I have to share. I think it's best used for maintenance, I think if some people have extremely hard calluses they might have to use a little something extra to help the Amope Pedi along, but for us it's great. I think the Amope is on my 2015 Christmas list for my daughters they will love it. However the housing is the only decent thing about this foot file. The actually file itself in not worth a plug nickel. The file rotation speed is terrible. I bought this file hoping to save on professional pedicures however, I used this foot file for several days with extremely poor results, and I have well kept feet and no thick callouses.
